LCAOA Becomes LCPIA[ back ] GURNEE, IL - At the November 13 general membership meeting, LCAOA members approved a recommendation by the board of directors to change the Association's name to the Lake County Property Investors Association. What began in 1976 as a group of apartment building owners has evolved into a diverse membership of real estate investors with interests ranging from vacant land, single family home rentals, rehabbers and flippers to owners of large apartment complexes. LCPIA has adopted a new mission statement: Lake County Property Investors Association is a not-for-profit organization of active property owners and Real Estate investors, as well as those who are just beginning. We encourage, support, and educate rental property owners and Real Estate investors and we promote the progress and dignity of the Rental and Real Estate investment industry in order that the public may be better served. The board of directors has ambitious plans to grow the Association and provide more member benefits, including a new members-only web site.
