Course Summary:

The landlord-training program was developed to help landlords and managers keep destructive and illegal activity out of their property. The content of the course has been developed through the process of intensive research and administration with many organizations and individuals-- including landlords, rental property owners associations, private attorneys, city attorneys, tenant advocates, tenant screening companies, the Milwaukee Police Department, the Metropolitan Fair Housing Council, various regulatory agencies from both the State and the City, and many elected officials. It is a consensus document that is intentionally designed to be pro-neighborhood and to inform landlords and managers what they can do to prevent such destructive tenants from becoming involved with their property.
